The Promotion commences at 00:01 AEDT on 11 February 2025 and ends at 23:59 AEDT on 31 March 2025 (Promotional Period).

1. To be eligible to participate in the Promotion you must be:

1. located in Australia
2. aged 18 years or over (or if under the age of 18, then participation in the Promotion shall be in accordance with Sonder’s Minor Policy); 
3. a student of a Sonder education institution customer (Allianz OSHC policy holders, Scape, University of Sydney, Kaplan, James Cook University, UP Education, Lincoln College of Higher Education,The Hotel School, Campus Living Villages, Iglu, Kent Institute, NextEd Group, ILSC, Australian Academy of Technology and Engineering, Study Perth, The Switch); and
4. registered as a Sonder member (see paragraph 4 below);

for the entirety of the Promotional Period (Eligible Entrant).

1. Directors, management, employees and contractors of the Promoter, retailers, suppliers, associated entities and agencies associated with the Promotion, and their immediate families, are ineligible to enter.
2. For the avoidance of doubt, any Sonder members that registered with Sonder through the Sonder: Wellbeing & safety app (the Sonder App) as a family member using a registration code are not eligible to participate in the Promotion.

1. To enter the Promotion and be eligible to win the Prize, the Eligible Entrant must:

1. download the Sonder App; and
2. complete registration on the Sonder App by following the prompts to create an account and set a password (Eligible Entry). 

1. Each Eligible Entrant is limited to one Eligible Entry. 

1. The prize is a AU$2,000 Apple Gift Voucher (Prize).
2. The Prize is not transferable or exchangeable.
3. All taxes (excluding goods and services tax (GST)), which may be payable as a consequence of receiving the Prize, are the sole responsibility of the Winner.
4. The Promoter is not liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered (even if caused by negligence) as a result of the Winner accepting and/or using the Prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
5. The Prize is subject to the terms and conditions of Apple, accessible at www.apple.com/au/legal/giftcards/applestore/au/.  The Promoter is not responsible or liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered by any Winner as arising from, or in connection with the Prize or the conduct of Apple.

1. All Eligible Entries will be included in the Prize Draw. 
2. The Prize Draw will take place at 10:00 AEDT on 2 April, 2025 (Prize Draw Date) at the Promoter’s offices at 834 Elizabeth Street, Waterloo NSW via a random draw carried out by a representative of the Promoter. Winning is not contingent on being present at the Prize Draw.
3. The first Eligible Entry drawn will be the winner of the Prize (Winner). 

1. The Winner will be notified by Sonder within 7 days of the Prize Draw Date. The Winner will be notified in writing by phone call or SMS to the phone number included in their profile in the App or by email to the email address included in their profile in the App or by private message within the App, or a combination of some or all of these means.
2. If the Promoter is unable to make contact with the Winner within 48 hours of the Prize Draw Date, Eligible Entrants consent to:

1. the Promoter contacting the Winner’s education institution and requesting them to notify the Winner that they have won the Prize and to contact the Promoter for delivery; and
2. the Winner’s education institution making contact with the Winner for the purposes outlined above.

1. The Winner’s name will be published on the Promoter’s website from 7 days after the Prize Draw at the following URL be.sonder.io/student-competition-feb2025
2. Should an Eligible Entrant’s contact details change during the Promotional Period, it is the Eligible Entrant's responsibility to notify the Promoter. 
3. The Promoter reserves the right to request verification of the age and identity of the Winner and any other information relevant to entry into or participation in this Promotion. Verification is at the discretion of the Promoter, whose decision is final.

1. The Prize will be delivered to the email address provided by the Winner at the time of entry within 14 days of the Prize Draw Date.

If the Prize (or any part of the Prize) becomes unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoter’, the Promoter may substitute the Prize (or the relevant part of the Prize) with a prize of equal or greater value subject to any contrary direction from a regulatory authority.

1. If the Prize (other than perishable Prizes) remains unclaimed within three months after the Prize Draw Date, or if the Winner is unable to receive the Prize for any other reason (including but not limited to if the Winner is disqualified or in breach of the Terms), a redraw will be held at 834 Elizabeth Street, Waterloo, NSW 2017 at 10:00 AEST]on 2 July, 2025 via a random electronic draw carried out by the Promoter,  subject to the approval of any necessary regulatory authority (Redraw).
2. The winner of the Redraw will be notified in the same manner as set out in paragraph 7 above.

1. Personal information including the Eligible Entrant’s name, telephone number and email address will be collected and used for the purpose of conducting this Promotion. This may require disclosure to third parties, including local regulatory authorities and the Promoter’s agents or third party service providers, for the purpose of conducting the Promotion, or for promotional and marketing purposes (including for direct marketing) (Purpose).
2. By entering this Promotion, Eligible Entrants consent to the use of their personal information for the Purpose and that the Promoter may contact them for future marketing and material purposes without payment.
3. Participation in the Promotion is subject to Sonder’s Privacy Policy which is accessible at https://sonderaustralia.com/privacy/. The Privacy Policy also provides further information on how Sonder collects, stores, uses and discloses any personal information and how to contact Sonder regarding personal information, including to update or withdraw consent for the use of personal information.

1. The Promoter’s decision is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into. 
2. Entries will be deemed void if illegitimate, forged, manipulated or tampered with in any way. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any individual who is involved in any way in interfering or tampering with the conduct of this Promotion or has breached any of these Terms, or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the Promotion.
3. Eligible Entrants have rights under the Australian Consumer Law and other similar legislation which cannot be excluded, restricted or modified by the Promoter. These Terms do not exclude, restrict or limit those statutory rights in any way. However, to the maximum extent permitted by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability whether arising in tort (including without limitation negligence), contract or otherwise for any personal injury or any other loss or damage (including without limitation loss of opportunity or loss of profits) whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion, including, without limitation:

1. any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control);
2. any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference;
3. any entry that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter;
4. any variation in market value to that stated in these Terms;
5. incorrect information provided by the Eligible Entrant;
6. any circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter;
7. cancellation or any delay in the commencement of the Promotion; 
8. disqualification of the Eligible Entrant from participating in the Promotion;
9. any tax implications; or
10. the Prize.

1. If, for any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, this Promotion is not capable of running as planned, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to take any action that may be available to it, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion, unless to do so would be prohibited by law.
2. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion or amend these Terms, subject to any directions from a regulatory authority.
3. These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
